Modern Modular was started to combine the skills and reputation of a home builder with the process and efficiencies that has created modular projects for the likes of Google and Amazon. We utilize several different construction methods in order to maximize efficiency, including panelized construction, pre-cut framing packages, and modular prefab designs.

We’ve come to discover that high-performance, panelized kit homes are the best option for us — and for our clients. Panelized kit homes allow us to maintain a high level of quality control, enjoy a rapid production process, and use the latest building science techniques – while always striving to keep costs competitive.

While we specialize in affordable housing units, backyard suites, and tiny homes, our team can offer a custom design or use customer-provided designs to create and build your dream home or cottage.

Our Process

1. Panel Building

We prefabricate all our wall and roof panels in a factory with a controlled environment to ensure speed of build, quality standards, and cost certainty. This means No surprise costs or delays for our customers.

2. Delivery & Install

Your Panels are carefully transported and delivered to the site with the option for us to complete the job or for you to install on your own. As the walls are already complete we are able to greatly reduce the amount of framing time on site which means you can have a weather tight home in 1-2 days.

3. Traditional Finishing

Once all your Panels are installed the rest of your house is finished just like traditional construction. This ensures the high quality finishes you would expect and no one will ever know it was Modular!
